For more than ten years, Yoann Bourgeois has been exploring the 'attempts to approach a state of suspension': moments of balance where time seems to stand still. With 'L’Approche infinie', he collects and reassembles these fragments to create a journey consisting of states of suspension, falls, and new beginnings. Instead of a sequence of pieces, the performance weaves a continuous form in which each sequence engages in dialogue with the others – a work in motion that builds up without ever concluding.
