Description

The dance production «YES/NO» is an approach to the theme of «Consent» (agreement, mutual understanding) in three acts. The dance production begins as an exhilarating celebration of relentless positivity: enthusiastic, persistent, and virtuosic. Then, «No» is practiced – something that is always difficult for us. Afterwards, it becomes more complex as the dancers negotiate boundaries – both among themselves and with the audience. The choreography is both precise and playful, highly energetic and thoughtfully interactive. The seating is arranged in a circle around the stage, allowing for an excitingly intimate experience of the live performance. The dancers interact directly with the audience, who gradually become figures in the performance they are witnessing.
