The first institutional solo exhibition by Basel-based artist and musician Yanik Soland (*1990) is dedicated to an artistic practice that combines, among other things, sound, sculpture, and performance. A new exhibition at the Kunsthaus Baselland brings together, for the first time in a comprehensive manner, Yanik Soland’s long-standing exploration of the transitions between sound, material, and space. At the same time, Soland explores the question of how sound can be exhibited and made visible or physically perceptible.
