Description

On the weekend of September 26th and 27th, 2026, the area beneath Karlštejn Castle and the castle courtyard will once again resonate with pipers, trumpeters, and musicians for the twenty-eighth time. Knightly tournaments will take place, dancers will perform, and the grape harvest will be celebrated. This year, the celebration will not be missed by Emperor Charles IV, who would be celebrating his 710th birthday. Accompanying him will be his wife, Empress Elisabeth of Pomerania, along with more than 150 courtiers from Charles's court. PLEASE NOTE! During the grape harvest, it is not possible to access the castle without paying the entrance fee for the harvest, even if you have a reserved free entry for a tour of Karlštejn Castle. Karlštejn Castle is a co-organizer of the grape harvest, and the area is designated in accordance with applicable legislation. All visitors were informed about the necessity of paying the entrance fee for the harvest when reserving tickets.
