The 21st Century Orchestra & Chorus, under the direction of Ludwig Wicki, plays two exclusive live concerts in Switzerland. On October 2 and 3, 2026, memories of the World Soul saga full of magic and epic soundscapes will awaken at KKL Luzern. The most popular melodies from The Burning Crusade (2007), Wrath of the Lich King (2008), Cataclysm (2010), Mists of Pandaria (2012), Warlords of Draenor (2014), Legion (2016), and Battle for Azeroth (2018) as well as from Shadowlands (2020) and Dragonflight (2022) will be played. The epic live music is accompanied by breathtaking visual projections from 20 years of World of Warcraft®. The two-hour musical journey presents familiar landscapes and great moments in the unique ambiance of KKL Luzern. Concert attendees experience all key scenes again in image and sound, from the peaceful light of Elwynn Forest to the rugged beauty of Howling Fjord to the most moving moments around Anduin Wrynn and Varian's sacrifice. The monumental orchestral sounds of the 21st Century Orchestra, earthy, folkloric colors, and the sublime power of the 21st Century Chorus merge with the fascinating visual worlds into a unique concert experience. Every melody, every harmony lets Azeroth be reborn – bigger, more alive, and more emotional than ever – a crossover experience that leaves a lasting impression. Since its release in 2004, World of Warcraft® has created one of the largest and most passionate communities in the world. A world that has steadily grown and with it stories that have shaped generations of players. The music was always more than just accompaniment: it was heartbeat, identity, and emotional power at the same time. With the two concerts in October 2026, the 21st Century Orchestra continues the celebrated world premiere of this concert in September 2024 in Lausanne.
