The World Band Festival Lucerne is a music festival for wind bands that takes place in Lucerne at the end of September each year. During the nine days of the festival, around 1,000 artists from all over the world come together at the KKL Lucerne to compete in music competitions or to put on concert evenings.

The World Band Festival is a niche festival dedicated to wind music-making. From brass band, concert band, jazz, swing, world music, classical music, folk music to salsa, the festival covers a unique variety of musical genres.
