Workshop «Winterschnitt bei Obstspalieren»

Description

Along the historic monastery wall of the CULINARIUM ALPINUM, more than thirty pear trees grow, which are trained into artistic espaliers together with ProSpecieRara and the FRUCTUS association.
Experience this special fruit culture up close and accompany the winter care directly on site. In the workshop, you will learn the basics of winter pruning and receive valuable tips on the correct pruning and training technique. Afterwards, you will take the scissors yourself and shape the espaliers under expert guidance. This way, you gain the knowledge and confidence to successfully grow and care for your own espalier tree. Additionally, we also offer the workshop «Summer Pruning of Espalier Fruit Trees».
