Description
If you are involved in family research, journalistic investigations, or handling documents in other ways, you have probably wondered how to adequately archive and store your materials. Our workshop focuses on long-term findability and preservation: Which organizational system is best suited for digital and analog formats? How do I organize computer files, files, letters, and photos? We will teach the basics of archival storage using practical examples and address your questions. The workshop is free of charge and is led by Dr. Nicola Schneider from the Training & Tours team of the IK department, Digital Services & Development (IDE). The number of participants is limited – please register. For ZB events (tours, educational sessions, lectures), audio aids (including induction loops for hearing aids) are available for people with hearing impairments. Please contact kommunikation@zb.uzh.ch if needed. Photo: Pexels on PixabayHighlights
