Workshop: Encrypted Mask

Description

The workshop by Théâtre du Poulet builds upon the production GPO Box No. 211 and reflects with the participants upon their own experiences with protest. In doing so, the material of paper is placed in focus and is written on, reshaped and ultimately transformed into a mask. The artists Chun-Shing Au and Carmen Lee are from Hong Kong and are currently living in Amsterdam following stations in Canada and Czechia. They use puppets, masks and objects to deal with social topics. Alongside their stage productions, they also always pursue the direct exchange with the audience with street theater and participatory projects.
