Description

Creative Mending - learn in this workshop from Anne Schlüter, textile designer and founder of «The Hole Story», versatile techniques to repair your clothes aesthetically and artistically. Subtle or intentionally visible, in any case suitable for you and your garment. With a pinch of humor and joy in meditative work, repairing and embroidery can become your new passion. We practice on sample pieces. But feel free to bring your own clothes that need repair or beautification. No prior knowledge is required. Patience and joy in slow handwork are advantageous. The course is organized as part of the 2026 annual theme «Tragweite - bewusst kleiden» of the Muri Energy Forum together with the Volkshochschule Oberes Freiamt. Important information

General Information

The 'Creative Mending' workshop takes place at the Gemeinschaftszentrum Muri and offers participants the opportunity to learn creative repair techniques for clothing. Under the guidance of Anne Schlüter, participants can bring their own garments and customize them.
