Description
Training on the highly sought-after topic of organoleptic defects in wine, where the instructor will introduce you to the most common diseases and defects of wines, their causes, and prevention methods. If you want to recognize and test the basic problems of wines, be confident in their correct identification, and possibly provide feedback to submitters of competition wines, this training is just for you. Course content: 1) Theoretical part - definitions of defects and diseases and their characterization 2) Practical part - examples of selected defects and diseases and their sensory evaluation by participants (approximately 15 wine samples) Wine samples will be served throughout the training. Target group: winemakers, tasters, sommeliers, and wine lovers. Instructor: Ing. Michal Kumšta, Ph.D. - university lecturer, assistant professor at the Institute of Viticulture and Enology ZF MENDELU in Lednice, graduate of the Faculty of Food and Biochemical Technology at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague.
