Description

The internationally successful conductor Daniel Daréus returns to his small hometown after a collapse. The village pastor immediately offers him the position of cantor, which also includes leading the local choir. Initially, he resists this new role, but the more he engages with old and new acquaintances, the more he regains faith in the healing power of music.
