Wernisch's seemingly accessible yet elusive and refined verses, his secular and spiritual poetry, words masked with earthy mockery and melancholic confessions of uncertainty and desire, a direct celebration of word and rhythm, new impacts of meanings, sparks of birth and demise of worlds. Beloved verses, forgotten poems, unknown texts, and entirely new works written specifically for this production. And above all, a dream and a word that materializes in the magical ritual called Theatre, as a celebration of one of the most significant living Czech poets.
