Under the direction of Daniel Treyer, the Flawiler Chamber Orchestra presents a heartfelt program that celebrates the Advent season with touching music and warm string sounds. Special guest Paolo D’Angelo joins as both organist and accordionist, offering a rich variety of musical textures from festive organ melodies to the intimate colors of the accordion. The concert spans different musical eras, blending works by Bach, Albinoni-Giazotto, Vivaldi, and Widor with traditional Advent and Christmas carols, inviting the audience to sing along. The interplay between the orchestra and D’Angelo creates a unique soundscape, emphasizing the contrasting qualities of the two instruments and enriching the overall experience. The carefully curated program combines sophisticated compositions with familiar melodies, fostering a sense of community and shared celebration.
