The Evangelical Pop Academy Witten celebrates its 10th anniversary and invites to its jubilee concerts. Tonight: WeChazz. As with food, music is best when fresh, spicy, and handmade! The young band WeChazz refines their creations with a touch of swing and blues, a breeze of soul and funk, but also Latin American rhythms. The mix of earthy groove, virtuosic skill, and gentle sounds makes the music a delicacy. The musicians around singer Theodora Kaiser and bandleader Benjamin Steinhoff come from the Stuttgart area. They met through various worship projects. Their shared affinity for gospel and jazz led to the idea of dressing church songs in a jazzy style. But more than that: WeChazz not only provides a refreshing change in church services or panel discussions but can also impress at weddings or other celebrations with festive dinner music and danceable live music. Just fresh, spicy, and handmade!
