Description

Wamen takes her name from her grandmother. In 2016, she inherits her first name and chooses to carry its memory on stage. Franco-Cameroonian, she draws from her dual culture a rich and unique musical identity. With direct and poetic writing, she tells stories of love often broken, mirrors of a generation and its wounds. After Discipline, which became a true anthem, her project RE marks the end of a cycle and opens the way to deep healing. An artist of great sincerity, supported by a loyal and engaged community.
