On Wagi Day, four producers from Wagerswil open their doors and provide insights into regional food production. The focus is on products, people, and businesses from the village as well as local production. Included are the Pilzerei with regional gourmet mushrooms, Thur Shrimp with Swiss shrimps, Wagerswiler Bräu with locally brewed beer, and the Hof Underräbe with Galloway cattle. Tours and visits offer insights into the various production sites and provide knowledge about cultivation, husbandry, production, and processing. In the festival economy, products from the participating businesses can also be tasted. Wagi Day is aimed at all those interested in learning more about the origin and production of regional food.
