Burden, With Luis, Ice Cream Man, Marsyas and Apollo, Children's Dresses, House of Grain, Colors, Mug, Heavenly Gate, Next time I'd rather avoid you, Sun and Rain, Let the Wind Guide You and other immortal classics performed by an orphaned band, whose protagonist is unfortunately no longer with us. At "Kalandrovky", the bandleader and member of the last Marsyas lineup from 2014, Ondřej Fencl (among others Luboš Pospíšil, Schodiště, V. Merta...) takes on the main female role played by the phenomenal Barbora Červinková (Tribute to Zuzana Navarová, Semafor Theatre, Jazz Elements...), who could be the granddaughter of Zuzana Michnová, thus "she is not far from thirty (un)wise". The Mug and the cult Ice Cream Man are then handled together by the frontman and frontwoman, with the help of skilled band vocalists. The accompanying lineup is strong, and although with an average age of 35, it is full of sought-after Czech musicians. Wild yet gentle, animalistic, ticking like Swiss watches. Multi-talented Matěj Morávek (among others Vlasta Redl, Team P. Habery...) plays electric guitar, alternated by Jan Beruška Šobr (Sto zvířat), on bass guitar Jan Neruda (among others Věra Martinová's band, 5P L. Pospíšila..) on drums Jakub Nývlt (among others Sto zvířat, Show J. Krause...) alternated by Pavel Plašil (Xindl X, Lake Malawi...). Bandleader Ondřej Fencl adds: "Barunka has been breathtaking fans of Nerez for years with her Jazz Elements in the program Tribute to Zuzana Navarová, recently in Mělník I witnessed how even Zdeněk Vřešťál himself was thrilled by her. Here, Bára sanctifies the legacy of another significant woman in Czech folk, which she does just as authentically. Know that when you close your eyes... you will hear Marsyas. The band is great, I give my all and my heart, Barča sings in a way that makes you cry. It happened to me when I first accompanied her at her wedding, where she performed two classics of Marsyas - which started our collaboration. We love challenges and this one is like thunder.
