Description
The concert "VOYAGE VIRTUOSE" invites you on a musical journey through the centuries, showcasing the virtuosity of the two instruments in all their facets. The journey begins with Bach and his inventions, jewels of clarity and precision, where counterpoint becomes a brilliant playground for the agility and interplay of the performers. It continues with Handel's famous Passacaglia, which brings the grandeur of the Baroque to life: a persistent theme that develops into a true sound monument through variation after variation. From Mozart's pen, the musical exchange shines through the combination of grace and technical ease in a witty dialogue. The 8 pieces by Gljérer then adorn the technical performance with gentleness and lyricism, each note revealing the finesse of the timbres and the subtlety of the dialogue. Sibelius's canon unfolds a more internal virtuosity, characterized by millimeter-precise accuracy and floating moods. Next is the duo op. 7 by Kodály, which always stirs the stage: folk rhythms, striking contrasts, and shimmering passages follow one another, testing the endurance and creativity of the musicians. The journey concludes with Piazzolla's "Libertango," a grand highlight where virtuosity becomes dance, passion, and freedom, sealing the perfect connection between technical mastery and emotional intensity.
