The Bernese Egyptologist and cultural anthropologist, Alexandra Küffer, will give a lecture on the history of the Egyptian sarcophagus, which is part of the Museum of Appenzell's collection and is displayed just one floor above. The evening will clarify how it arrived in Appenzell and its significance. The lecture is open to the public and free of charge.
