The Swiss Brass Band Competition is the most significant event in Switzerland's brass band scene. The preparation concert allows competing bands to present their test pieces to an audience, mimicking the competition setting. Each band is assigned an original work fitting their class, with the top-tier bands also performing a self-chosen piece. Participating bands include Musikgesellschaft Rumisberg, Musik Frohsinn Oberburg, Brass Band Emmental, and Ensemble de Cuivres Jurassien A, each with their respective conductors and repertoire.
