Pause for thought, broadcast pause, pink pause, menopause, clown of pauses – pauses appear repeatedly in our lives at various points. Sometimes we wish for nothing more than a break, then we are forced to pause due to external circumstances. In the new A Cappella program "döreschnuufe," famm (Sabrina Rohner-Troxler, Sarah Höltschi, Claudia Greber, and Simone Felber) examines the concept of pauses from various perspectives, explores how we can still pause in today's performance society, and questions whether "döreschnuufe" necessarily leads to relaxation. Traditional Swiss folk songs, such as "Lueged vo Bärg ond Tal" or "Taar i nöd es bitzeli," fit into the new song program just as well as songs that famm has specifically composed for the evening.
