Description

Vojta Nedvěd is the son of the famous singer-songwriter and guitarist František Nedvěd. He has been actively performing since 1992, when he started playing in the band Dinosauři. Since 1993, he has been active in a formation called Příbuzní. This family formation was, as the name suggests, composed mainly of descendants of the famous Nedvěd brothers. From 1999 to 2004, Vojta Nedvěd was a member of the band Poklad, which accompanied Honza Nedvěd Sr. and other renowned artists. From 2004 to 2008, Vojta Nedvěd was part of the backing band of his uncle Honza Nedvěd. Since 2008, he has been a member of the backing band of the Nedvěd brothers. In the same year, his father founded the formation Tie Break, where Vojta played with Milan Plechatý and Petr Kocman until his father's death in 2021. Even after his departure, Vojta continues to perform and plays songs from his solo albums as well as songs from the works of the Nedvěd brothers. In 2023, Vojta Nedvěd released his third solo album, titled Maluju na nebe. It is a personal confession and revelation of inner feelings associated with the loss of his father. An important milestone for the realization of the new collection of songs was Vojta's acquaintance with Petr Hrdlička, who wrote most of the lyrics for the album. The frontman and singer of the rock band Škwor contributed eleven lyrics out of a total of thirteen, and surprisingly managed to connect with the 'Nedvěd' poetic style.
