A big concert by a great musician! When you mention Vlasta Redl, everyone surely thinks of a genius jack-of-all-trades, composer, lyricist, singer, writer, studio musician, arranger, music director, and producer who has contributed to nearly 60 albums, as well as being an author of theater and film music. His musical work is genre-defying and therefore hard to define, but his distinctive authorial and arranging style is easily recognizable, often combining traditional melodic and harmonic lines of Moravian and Slovak folklore with progressive elements of contemporary music styles (rock, r&b, jazz, funky, blues). In our new band, besides me, Marcel Buntaj or Petr Ptáček play drums and percussion, Martin Gašpar, Tomáš Koudelka, or Michal Vašíček play bass and sing, Borek Nedorost or Karel Macálka play keyboards and sing, Ruda Březina or Michal Žáček play saxophones and flutes, Matěj Morávek or Michal Vašíček play guitar, and I, Vlasta, play guitar, keyboards, and sing. After the concert, there will be a signing session and a chance for photos.
