Description

Building on the knowledge gained during the temporary exhibition Colonialism. An Involved Switzerland, we revisited our permanent exhibitions to create a route covering its themes through the objects displayed at the Château. Thus, by traversing the exhibitions Noblesse oblige! Life at the Château in the 18th century, Indian textiles. A fabric conquering the world, and What is Switzerland?, the visit addresses Switzerland's involvement in slavery, the Atlantic trade, mercenarism, the Eurocentric view, and racism, as well as the current repercussions of this past.
Included in the entrance fee, no registration required.
