Why get married at all? Every second marriage ends in divorce and far more than every second couple is unhappy. Better to stay single – at least that's what Beatrice thinks, who is sure there isn't the right man for her even behind the moon. And Benedikt also never wants to bind himself to a woman – that would be even worse! The young Claudio and the beautiful Hero, on the other hand, have fallen in love and want to marry – so at least a dream wedding can happen … – But can we always trust our eyes? Isn't there a strange man climbing through the bride's window on the evening before the wedding? And isn't half the world whispering behind cupped hands that Beatrice has hopelessly fallen in love? And with Benedikt of all people?!
