Description

In Ftan, the painter will exhibit watercolors and oil paintings featuring various motifs from the Engadin, as well as birds and trout native to the valley. After earning a Master's degree at CalArts, he worked as the chief curator at Gemini in LA, collaborating with Rauschenberg, Johns, and Hockney.
Since then, he has focused exclusively on painting, receiving numerous international awards.
He paints in a traditional, academic style and considers himself more of a naturalist, inspired by his lifelong engagement with the wild landscapes of the California Sierra Nevada and the Swiss Alps.
