Vernissage of the exhibition "Ted Joans. Black Flower". Thursday, October 8, 2026, 6:30 PM The MCBA presents the first monographic exhibition dedicated to the American artist Ted Joans (1928–2003). An artist with an unclassifiable work, nourished by surrealism, jazz, the Black Power movement, Pan-Africanism, and transatlantic cultural exchanges, Joans holds a unique place in the artistic and intellectual history of the 20th century.
