Vernissage: New Natural Treasures in the «Wild Baselbiet»

A forest that protects us from rockfall, the mysterious lynx as well as kingfishers and brook trout: Be there when the new nature portraits move into the exhibition «Wild Baselbiet. Tracking animals and plants»! We look forward to inaugurating the new natural treasures with you at the vernissage. Buckten, Langenbruck and Füllinsdorf are the current winners of the municipal competition and bring their nature stories into the Museum.BL. Thus, 45 Baselbiet natural treasures can be discovered from autumn in the exhibition «Wild Baselbiet. Tracking animals and plants». Whether on the outskirts of Basel or in a remote valley of the Tafeljura: In each of the 86 Baselbiet municipalities, you will find special natural treasures waiting to be discovered. This abundance of surprising natural paradises makes the Basel region an ecologically extremely interesting and important habitat. Do you have natural treasures in your municipality that you would like to see in Museum.BL? Then participate in the voting or contribute to the community fund in the exhibition. General Information

The vernissage takes place at Museum.BL in Liestal and celebrates the inauguration of new nature portraits. These portraits tell the stories of nature in three municipalities and are part of a comprehensive exhibition about the natural treasures of the Basel region.
