The Peasant and Craft Museum is pleased to welcome you to the opening of the exhibition Under the Coat by the Bisontin artist Florent Dubois. Born in 1990 in Besançon, graduated from ENSBA Lyon, he lives, works, and teaches in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin. His work has been shown in group or solo exhibitions at the Les Capucins art center in Embrun, the Galerie de Noisy-le-Sec, the Printemps de Septembre in Toulouse, Motto Berlin, and the Confort Moderne in Poitiers. Florent Dubois favors festive and uninhibited forms in his work. A great formal generosity is expressed through drawings, prints, objects, videos, ceramics, often in exuberant displays. Between tourist imagery and festive themes, his exhibitions create closed universes between the garden and the nightclub.
