After studying in St. Petersburg, Anna-Lena Ruf returned to give her art space. She captures impressions and develops her own visual language focused on corporeality and identity. After seven years of studying painting at the Art Academy in St. Petersburg, the Eastern Swiss artist Anna-Lena Ruf has returned to Switzerland with the intention of giving her painting space. She captures the diverse information and impressions of the visible world on canvas. Anna-Lena Ruff is connected to the painterly tradition, varies and transforms it into her own visual language. Based on her own experience as a young mother, she is currently exploring in depth themes of corporeality, social attributions, and identities. The artist will be personally present on the following dates and looks forward to your visit:
