Description

December 1944. In northern Italy, far from the thunder of war-torn Europe, two soldiers find shelter in the mountain village of Vermiglio. One of them is a local, the other a Sicilian named Pietro, taciturn and reserved, as if still wandering through the battlefields. As the snow melts from the picturesque hills, Lucia falls in love with Pietro.
