Description
A project by Esther Pilkington with Daniel Ladnar, Kerstin Oppermann, Manuel Scuzzo, and many more | Stage: Matthias Anton | Costume: Katrin Rieber | Production management: honest work – free cultural office Every day we move through the city – on foot, by bike, by car, by bus, and train. Some routes we take daily, others are completely new to us. Essentially, the countless ways through the city are a remarkable movement performance by many. However, this is not without problems: many routes are too complicated, others are even dangerous. And then there are the impacts of traffic on the environment. Especially for children and families, the daily routes through the city are a major challenge. Yet, in traffic planning, they are rarely heard!
What if we use theater not to explain traffic rules, but to think about road traffic in a completely different way? Different movements, different vehicles, different rules? We want to find out together on a performance tour around the theater! Made possible by the reintroduction and guest performance funding of the Dachverband freie darstellende Künste Hamburg from funds of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Department of Culture and Media
