VANUA2 is a supergroup of Czech musicians + the 'seal-like' voice of singer Yannick Tevi. The Czech pop-rock band Vanua2 was formed on the foundations of the band Blue Effect by Radim Hladík. Together with the charismatic and phenomenal singer Yannick Tevi, originally from the island of Vanuatu, they bring a fresh and authentic sound that blends rock, pop, and soul. His husky, sometimes raspy vocals reminiscent of the singer Seal add depth, emotion, and a unique expression to the introspective lyrics. Their work is built on original grooves and an unmistakable musical signature. Energetic performances and catchy English repertoire make Vanua2 a captivating experience on club and festival stages. Their debut album Two of Us, released in 2023, received enthusiastic responses from both fans and music critics. This year, they are preparing to release their second album. Vanua2 has also gained attention from music awards – in the Žebřík Awards 2023, they were named one of the Discoveries of the Year and took 3rd place.
