Valais Taste Week

Swiss Taste Week is a project of the Foundation for Taste, http://www.fondationgout.ch/. Valais is a participant.
It is held every year during the same time period, and Valais has always been very active, recognizing the importance of food and, above all, the right to food and all the issues it raises regarding health, production, education, the environment, tourism, and social justice.

The traditional “major events” in Sion: Fête du Goût, Bagnes—Capital of Raclette, Saveurs Bordillonnes, and the Fête du Cornalin in Flanthey, School and youth events: the Taste Rally in Sion, drawing contests, “Fourchette Verte” in schools, and “Senso 5”—all coordinated by the Valais Health Promotion Center for Food and Physical Activity. https://www.gout.ch/bons-jeunes/: Launched in Valais in 2007, five top restaurants invite young people aged 16 to 25 to enjoy a four-course meal with wine for CHF 60.00. Workshops, walks, markets, tavolata, conferences.... “Signature” dishes offered by Label Fait Maison restaurants
