"Ungebunden - open stage for everyone"

The Book Café Kapitel Drei is a place for stories - printed on the shelf, shared at the table, or still unfinished on loose pages, just beginning to take shape. Between coffee, conversations, and fully written notebooks, different people reach for the pen in Kapitel Drei: some with initial ideas, others already in the middle of a manuscript. Still unpublished, still unbound, yet already authors. With "Ungebunden - New Voices from Kapitel Drei," we create a stage for exactly these texts as part of the Harbour Front Festival: for loose pages, started chapters, and stories that have yet to find their place in the world. We celebrate literature in the making for a weekend - open, raw, and full of new young voices. Saturday 03.10.26: Ungebunden - open stage for everyone. Whether it's your first text, a started novel, poems from the drawer, or that one page that finally needs to be read aloud: at the open stage, the stage belongs to those who write. No publication needed. No publisher. Just you and your words. Sunday 04.10.26: Ungebunden Literature Prize. Six selected authors (shortlist) will present their texts live before a jury and audience. In ten minutes each, they will read from their unpublished works and give insight into texts still in progress - unbound but ready to be heard. Afterwards, the first Ungebunden Literature Prize will be awarded.

General Information

The event "Ungebunden - open stage for everyone" takes place at the Book Café Kapitel Drei, offering young authors a platform to present their unpublished works. On 03.10.26, all writers can present their texts, followed by the awarding of the Ungebunden Literature Prize on 04.10.26.
