The question of the meaning of one's own existence is more relevant today than ever. In a world of unlimited possibilities and constant change, the search for orientation is no longer taboo but socially accepted: people consciously take breaks, question life plans, and openly talk about phases of disorientation. The exhibition «and now?! – Life paths between meaning and search» picks up on this development and lets people with different life experiences speak in video interviews. They talk about crises, breaks, and their search for a fulfilled life. Instead of providing answers, the exhibition asks questions and invites reflection. At the same time, the exhibition looks at the story of Niklaus von Flüe. With the consent of his wife Dorothee Wyss, he left his life of prosperity and security to finally find his calling in Ranft after an aborted pilgrimage. Artworks from the museum collection by Franz Bucher and Alois Spichtig, the co-initiator and first director of the Bruder Klaus Museum, complemented by poems by Margrit Spichtig-Nann from the publication «Bruder Klaus von Flüe – illuminated night», create space for contemplation and personal reflection.
