Jumpstyle originated in the late 90s in the Belgian and Dutch underground and evolved from Hard Dance, Hardcore, and Techno into a distinct dance style: hard kicks, fast beats, and the characteristic jump. What started in clubs and at raves became a movement. Feet in the air, bass in the body, and not a second of rest.
