Description

Bettina Willnauer introduces participants to the textile art of tufting and allows them to create small wall hangings themselves. Tufting is a technique for creating three-dimensional textile surfaces, mainly used for carpets. After a brief introduction by textile artist Bettina Willnauer, participants get hands-on to design small wall hangings, which they can then take home. The two machine techniques, Loop and Cut Pile, as well as the manual version with the so-called Punch Needle, are tried out — with expert tips for each step. Additional information:
