TRIO JANETT - Waldhaus Variations

Description

The hall of the Grandhotel Waldhaus in Upper Engadin is a magical place at half past three in the afternoon. Nostalgia, longing, and anticipation for dinner come together. The triumph of a perfect mini-golf round also wants to be celebrated with a drink. And suddenly musicians appear, three, four, nine, twelve – with a few artistic tricks and tricks for the ear, eye, and soul, they are conjured onto the stage. The screen takes the audience to the reception, the kitchen, the fumoir, the indoor pool. The musicians Curdin, Domenic, and Niculin Janett remain on stage, the Fränzlis XXL in the film. They are the playful-musical spirits of the hotel and take the audience on an imaginary journey – from the Waldhaus waltz at the reception, the rustic Scottish in the fumoir, the Elvis evergreen in the bar to the Balkan brass hit in the hotel corridors.
