Description

Few other rock bands were as prominent in the media as Queen. The English band led by the vocal acrobat Freddie Mercury dominated the radio of the 70s and 80s with countless hits. They shaped the format of the music video and explored every corner of the earth with endless tours. Queen were not only media pioneers, but above all talented composers who managed to combine the most diverse styles and adorn them with timeless melodies. Songs like Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are The Champions, or We Will Rock You are part of rock history. All are characterized by Freddie Mercury's unique vocal range and love for multi-part singing. In this tribute, singer Sarah Kappeler and singers Andreas Lareida, Tobias Carshey, Timo Meier (Max Apollo), Pascal Hervouet des Forges, and the rock band, together with DJ Dan Tube (Daniel Rohr), celebrate a historic radio show that revisits Queen's career in a chronological context.
