Could there be a title that sounds more like Heiner Müller? ZEMENT? MASCHINE? BOHRER? SCHLACHT? Maybe. But this one is really by him. Responsibility, community, heroism, and work: all themes of Müller gather around this TRAKTOR. A field, mines, a tractor, a responsible (ignorant?) tractor driver, one leg less, a hospital bed: to do or not to do, that is the question here. Around this TRAKTOR, Fredi Thiele assembles other fragments of Müller and proves (once again) how much this author is needed today.
