Description

It has become a beautiful tradition to welcome the New Year in Baiersbronn with festive trumpet and organ sounds. The Romanesque Münsterkirche Klosterreichenbach has been providing the solemn setting for this splendid New Year's concert for years. The instrument of kings and the queen of instruments jubilantly shine and majestically roar. Their harmony transports the audience to other spheres. On New Year's Day 2027, the renowned trumpet ensemble Stuttgart will once again be guest performers together with organist Andreas Gräsle (Stuttgart). In a festive BACH trumpet GALA, baroque trumpet concerts, meditative works for Corno da caccia, and Christmas organ music including pieces by J. S. Endler, G. Fr. Händel, J. S. Bach, F. Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Jeremiah Clarke, and Christmas organ improvisations will be performed. In between, Pastor Helge Abel will speak spiritual impulses.
