«All myths!» claims a current book series that deconstructs 20 popular misconceptions on various topics such as the «Wild West» or «Knights». But what exactly is a myth? Closer reflection brings to mind, for example, origin myths like «Romulus and Remus», but also downfall myths like the «Zero Hour» or conspiracy myths like the «Stab-in-the-back legend». Are they all the same? Are myths simply untrue? If so: why do we tell them? Were there more myths in the past than today? Curator and historian Stephanie Müller and history professor Dr. Felix Hinz will jointly try to shed some light on a fascinating phenomenon.
