Theme Days - Sound and Effect

Description

The theme days are dedicated to the effect of sound from a professional and experiential perspective. The focus is on a comprehensive approach to sound, combining experience, deepening, and reflection.

The opening is a reclining concert with Diandra Russo and Ingrid Lukas. In a floating sound space of piano, voice, saxophone, and fine electronic textures, a space for presence and inner calm is created.

On the second day, the specialist lecture "Sounds good to me" highlights the diverse effects of sound in music therapy. Practical examples and current research results combine to deepen the understanding of sound as an audible, resonant, and physiological phenomenon.

The workshop focuses on the participant's own voice. Participants explore their individual voice sound and experience how voice can shape communication, presence, and emotional impact. In the afternoon, the film "Music Therapy – In the Rhythm of Life" provides insight into various music therapy practice fields. A chanting workshop rounds off the theme days.

The reclining concert on Friday evening can also be attended independently of the workshop.

Arrival:
A shuttle to Klanghaus and back is included in the theme day ticket.
Departure Friday 5:10 PM from Unterwasser with stops at Unterwasser Chäserrugg Bahn, Wildhaus Lisighaus, and Wildhaus valley station Oberdorfbahn.
Return Saturday 4:30 PM with the same stops.

The event ticket includes travel to and from the entire OSTWIND network. The ticket is non-transferable.

Parking:
Paid parking is available at the valley stations of the mountain railways. No parking is available at Klanghaus.

Important:
Registration is binding. Cancellation costs arise according to the terms and conditions of Klangwelt Toggenburg. It is recommended to take out cancellation insurance.
