Description
"The Last Shirt Has Your Pockets" by Heike Falkenberg is a pointed and at the same time touching comedy about family, relationships, and the question of what really matters in life. At the center is an apparently harmless meeting that quickly develops into an emotional clash: old conflicts break out, unspoken truths come to light, and the characters suddenly face the consequences of their decisions. With a fine sense of dialogue and a lot of humor, the author succeeds in bringing serious themes such as transience, possession, and interpersonal responsibility to the stage in an entertaining and lifelike way. The play by Heike Falkenberg is published by Ahn & Simrock Bühnen- und Musikverlag GmbH and is performed by our theater association in a specially developed Swiss German version. We are especially pleased that our production may be presented as a world premiere. Look forward to an evening of theater full of wit, depth, and surprising twists – a play that invites laughter and at the same time encourages reflection. Directed by Simone Brunner
