Description
Vernissage on Thursday, September 4th at 6:30 PM. Filmmaker and visual artist Emmanuelle Antille (*1972) continues her exploration – undertaken with her film The Wonder Way – of extraordinary universes with a series of exhibitions around the creative process and the extraordinary worlds it generates. After the Manoir de la Ville de Martigny and the Centre d’art contemporain d’Yverdon-les-Bains (CACY), it is now the turn of the Musée Jenisch Vevey to host The Wonder Way Project, the third installment in the series. With the subtitle The labyrinths and forgotten worlds, this exhibition explores themes of wandering, traces, and erasure, highlighting vanished artistic worlds, inaccessible treasures or abandoned ones, unrealized universes or those forever lost. On this occasion, Emmanuelle Antille presents a brand new installation that she dialogues with a selection of prints and drawings from the museum's collection, as well as works by associated artists. An exhibition by Emmanuelle Antille.
