Familiar arias sound surprisingly new as choral arrangements, an expressive choreography underscores the music, and a midsummer night's dream is created on the stage of Laeiszhalle in the middle of November. Around 100 active singers form the vocal potential of the mixed choir, which has both double-choir a cappella literature and modern choral symphonies in its repertoire. Since 2009, it has been led by Christiane Hrasky. The choir regularly performs at the Hamburg Laeiszhalle, bringing major choral works to the stage together with orchestras and soloists.
