The Book Before Printing

Description

This workshop, led by Berlin-based writer and bookmaker Erin Honeycutt, uses the index of The Book Before Printing (1982) to guide participants through a speculative history of writing, authorship, and book forms. Participants will engage with categories like scribe, seal, colophon, and palimpsest to create texts that challenge traditional notions of authorship and classification, inspired by political and collective ideas of bibliography.
