The devil offers him magic bullets that always hit their target, except for one: the last bullet is controlled by the devil himself... Surreal and filled with abysses, this dark and absurd parable is the work of Robert Wilson (director of the original production), Tom Waits (music), and William S. Burroughs (libretto). First performed in Hamburg in 1990, "The Black Rider" quickly became a cult classic. Director Olivier Tambosi and conductor Iwan Wassilevski present a new musical and scenic interpretation. After successes with the public such as "Sweeney Todd", "Cabaret", and "Im weissen Rössl/L’Auberge du Cheval Blanc", they mark their fifth collaboration at TOBS!
